April 19th 12:00pm- 2DAN Films

  • Final Films due for 2DAN! Pay close attention to the following file specifications when submitting your film.

Format: H264 (.mp4)
1920 x 1080
Progressive, 1.0 PAR, 24 fps
Audio: AAC, 48 kHz, stereo
Variable Bit Rate (VBR): Target bitrate: 15 Mbps. Maximum bitrate: 20 Mbps

  • If your file is not up to the technical standards, you will be asked to submit again. Please check your ECU email often in the days following the deadline, that is how the technicians will contact you if your film needs a correction.
  • Upload your film to these links. The password should have given to you by your instructor/technician. If you would like to confirm that we received your file, please email us at animtech@ecuad.ca.
  • Please refer to Naming Conventions for how to correctly name your film.

April 28th - 3DAN Films

  • Final Films due for 3DAN! Pay close attention to the Technical Standards 2022 when submitting your film. If your file is not up to the technical standards, you will be asked to submit again. Please check your ECU email often in the days following the deadline, that is how the technicians will contact you if your film needs a correction.
  • Upload your film to these links. The password should have given to you by your instructor/technician. If you would like to confirm that we received your file, please email us at animtech@ecuad.ca.
  • Please refer to Naming Conventions for how to correctly name your film.
  • To ensure we have enough space on the Render Drive (R:/) to accommodate additional rendering, please backup your work to your personal devices and remove it from the Render Drive once you are done with your semester projects. The massive amount of rendering this year is filling up the storage capacity of the Render Drive at a remarkable rate.
